After my poor result last week, I was glad to get 100% on my first attempt at this week’s quiz.
I found it easy because I’m normally quite good at picking grammar mistakes in other people’s writing.
I did have to spend a little time going over the last question before I chose an answer. At first, I thought all the sentences were correct.
To help me choose an answer, I trusted my ear and read each sentence out loud so I could determine which sounded right (Whitaker, Ramsey & Smith 2012, p. 88).
After doing this, I decided that option B sounded correct. Thankfully, I was right.
I feel quite confident in my grammar skills this week, but I’m sure I’ve still got a lot to learn.
